This item is a Leica IIIC RED CURTAIN created in 1941-42 (SN:370974). There were only 20,550 made. The lens is a Summitar F/2 created in 1941 only 6000 were made (SN:563404).
The camera body overall is in good condition. The shutter works well. The curtains are in very good condition. There are no wrinkles. The first curtain is RED the second one is BLACK. There are minor cosmetic scratches and rub marks on the top and bottom of the body. The coating is in good condition. The leather on the body is in good condition, there is a minor crack on the front under the lens mount. The lens is in very good condition, the optics are in working condition. The case is in very good condition and has very minor cosmetic scratches and rub marks. The leather on the strap has minor rub marks. The camera overall is in good working condition.
