This item is a Leica II film camera (1940) (SN:362442). There were only 69,000 made. Lens (SN:564401) Summitar 50mm f/2, (1941), 6000 total made.

The camera body overall is in good condition. Red curtain are in working condition but there are shiny blacks. Black curtain material is wearing down due to age. There are no wrinkles on both curtains. Shutter works well.  There are signs of cosmetic scratches and rub marks on the top and bottom of the body. The coating is fading along with the dials, edges of the body, and around the outer ring of the lens. There is very minor oxidation along the edges of the body and dials. The leather on the body is in good condition, there is a minor crack on the front and under the lens mount. The lens is in very good condition, the optics are in working condition. The case is in good condition and has cosmetic scratches and rub marks. The leather on the strap has minor cracks and rub marks. The camera overall is in good working condition.
