Pre-Owned - Leica IIIc RED CURTAIN w/ 50mm F/2.0 lens

This is a Leica IIIc RED CURTAIN from 1941 (SN:369220). There were only 400 total made. The lens is a Summitar F/2.0 lens created in 1939 (SN:505527) where there were only 5500 made.

Body is in good condition. First curtain is BLACK, second curtain is RED. There are no wrinkles on the black curtain, the red curtain is wearing down and has shiny black spots. Shutter speed is slow on 1/130.  Minor scratches on the top and bottom. Small fading on the shutter speed dial. Fading along the advance and rewind dial. Couple of cracks on the leather on the front of the body under lens mount. Oxidation on strap rings. Some wear and tear on the viewfinder. Tiny scratch inside of the lens but optics are in good condition. Minor scratches on the bottom of the ring. Leather case has some minor cosmetic scratches on the back top and front. Winding wheel is oxidized a bit. Strap is in really good condition. Stiching is good. Leather cracked a bit on the button on the back. This item is in good working condition.
