This item is a Leica IIIc RED CURTAIN made in 1940 (SN:366066). The total amount made for this item was 69,000. The lens is a Summitar 50mm F/2.0 created in 1940 with only 5000 total made. (SN:552129). 

The body is in good condition. Rubber is slighty cracked under the lens mount. Light scratches on the top and bottom. Rub marks under the viewfinder. Dials are in good condition. Curtains are in good condition. First curtain is RED, second curtain is BLACK. Lens is in very good condition. Optics are clear and in good working condition. A little difficult to extend the zoom. Little faded on the outer ring of the lens. Leather case is in fair condition. Leather is cracked on the front and there is a decent amount of scratches. Winding wheel is in good condition. Strap on the side is broken. Holster inside coming apart. Stiching is good. Strap is in good condition. Minor cracks on the strap. Item is in good working condition. See pictures for more details.
