The Gitzo GT2340L Long Aluminum Tripod Legs is a 4-section eye-level size tripod that incorporates advanced materials and Gitzo technology. The legs are made from aluminum material, but with only a 1.2mm wall thickness, resulting in a 30% weight reduction. They come finished in a brushed matte black finish, for improved locking performance and minimized reflectivity.
The castings are made of Soulid 238, a unique technical compound that is 30% lighter than magnesium but just as strong and with great vibration damping properties. The center column is made of basalt material, which is 20% lighter than aluminum.
