Excellent condition. The lens is free of scratches, fungus, and haze. There is some minor dust between the elements that will not impact photo quality. The exterior has some minor wear due to age such as small scratches or worn paint that will not affect performance. The aperture and focus move smoothly. Please see pictures for more details.

The Super-Takumar 55mm F/2 M42 was reportedly produced from 1962 to 1974. It is composed of six elements in five groups, with a 6 bladed aperture that produces hexagonal bokeh. This version of the lens features a fully automatic diaphragm. The minimum focus distance is 45cm, and the maximum magnification is 0.17x. This lens is cited to have excellent sharpness, especially at f/4 or greater, and produces warmer images with pleasing bokeh.
