AS-IS Leica IIIa (1938) w/Erntz Leitz Wetzlar Summar 5cm (50mm) F/2 (1938) & Leather Case, SN#:274670, 468250

Item has minor cosmetic rub marks and scratches due to age and use. Shutter is lazy at low speeds 2secs and lower. The coating on the shutter speed dial is fading along the edge. Viewfinder is in very good working condition. Lens is in very good working condition. There is minor haze on the front element, requires CLA. Optics are in good working condition. There are very minor cosmetic scratches on the front of the lens, but it does not affect image quality. Glass is free of fungus. shutter curtains are in very good working condition. Brown leather case has heavy cosmetic wear. The wheel at the bottom of the case is a bit tough to turn. There is minor oxidation along some of the buttons on the case. The stitching on the front part of the case is loose. Strap has cosmetic wear and cracks on the leather. Please see pictures for more details.
