Sigma 16-300mm f/3.5-6.7 DC OS Contemporary Lens

Designed for APS-C mirrorless cameras, the Sigma 16-300mm f/3.5-6.7 DC OS Contemporary lens provides an impressive 18.8x zoom range, equivalent to approximately 24-450mm on a full-frame camera when used on the Sony a6700. Starting at a wider 16mm focal length than many all-in-one zoom lenses, it offers a broader field of view for landscapes, architecture, interiors, and group photographs, while extending to 300mm for distant subjects, wildlife, and sports. This expansive range makes it an excellent choice for photographers who want the convenience of a single lens for an exceptionally diverse range of shooting situations.

Sigma's HLA (High-response Linear Actuator) autofocus motor provides fast, precise, and quiet focusing for both still photography and video. The lens also incorporates Sigma's OS (Optical Stabilizer) technology to help minimize camera shake during handheld shooting, particularly at longer focal lengths. Its Contemporary-series design balances optical performance and versatility with portability, making it a practical companion for travel and everyday use. With its extensive zoom coverage and close-focusing capabilities, the lens also offers opportunities for capturing intricate details and small subjects without requiring a dedicated macro lens.
