Custom-fit to your Sony a1 II or a9 III with the Vertical Grip VG-C5 attached, this Camera Cage from SmallRig helps you secure, protect, and customize your rig for any run-and-gun shoot. Two cold shoe mounts on top, along with 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 anti-twist threads, enable you to mount various articulating arms, EVF mounts, microphones, and more to suit your filmmaking needs.
The cage features an Arca-type quick release plate, and a 1/4"-20 screw and side locking adapters secure the camera to prevent twisting. The cage is constructed with durable, lightweight aluminum and has silicone padding on the base to prevent scratches to the camera body. Access remains unobstructed to your camera's controls, ports, and battery door while the cage is installed.
