Pre-Owned - Vintage Refurbished Polaroid SX-70 Black Land Camera ALPHA Folding Instant Film Camera converted to use 600 film

The Polaroid SX-70 Black Land Camera ALPHA offers the same iconic functionality as the original SX-70, with its ivory body and tan leather skins lending a distinctive, timeless look. This model is a favorite for custom leather updates, as the light-colored body contrasts nicely with bright colors. Featuring an SLR lens, manual focusing system and exposure adjustment controls, this camera strikes the perfect balance of form and function — making it a favorite among instant film photographers.

Camera has been converted to use 600 film.

SX-70 cameras were originally designed to use SX-70 film, which has a sensitivity rating of ISO 160/23°. This is a pretty slow film speed, which is desirable for fine grain. However, it can be limiting in low-light settings. 600 film is twice as sensitive (ISO 640/29° to be exact!) which will perform better in a variety of light situations and is more readily available.
