The Viltrox NF-M43X Lens Mount Adapter is an optical focal reducer (speed booster) that allows you to mount Nikon F-mount (D or G-type) lenses onto Micro Four Thirds (M4/3) camera bodies. By using built-in optics, it condenses light to mitigate the MFT crop factor and boost low-light sensitivity.

• 0.71x Focal Reduction: Condenses the light from full-frame or APS-C lenses onto the smaller MFT sensor, giving you a 0.71x wider field of view.

• 1-Stop Aperture Gain: Concentrates light transmission to increase the lens's maximum aperture by one full stop (e.g., an f/2.8 lens effectively becomes an f/2.0), improving low-light capabilities.

• Optical Construction: Built with 5 optical glass elements structured into 4 distinct groups to minimize image degradation.

• Manual Aperture Control Ring: Features a physical 8-stop tactile ring (marked F-8) to manually adjust the aperture. It utilizes an internal lever to control the aperture pins on both older D-type and modern gel-less G-type Nikon lenses.

• Purely Manual Operation: It contains no electronic contacts. Autofocus (AF), electronic aperture control, and EXIF data transmission are not supported.
