The Triplet 78mm F/2.8 MMZ is a Soviet era lens produced by the Minsk Mechanical Plant. This lens was produced around the 1950s to 1990s. It is composed of three elements in tree groups. When adapted for modern digital cameras, it is suitable for sensors as large as medium format. The images this lens produce are not particularly sharp, and have a luminous effect as well as spherical aberration. The relatively wide aperture produces fairly shallow depth of field images.
