Pre-Owned - Samigon MC Auto Lens Extender 2x for Canon FD

The Samigon MC Auto 2x Lens Extender (often marketed as a teleconverter or doubler) is a vintage optical accessory designed for the Canon FD mount film camera system.

Key Features & Specifications

• Function: Doubles the focal length of an attached Canon FD lens (e.g., turning a 50mm lens into a 100mm lens).

• Mount: Canon FD/FL manual-focus bayonet mount.

• Coating: Multi-coated (MC) glass elements to help reduce flare and ghosting.

• Light Loss: Reduces incoming light by 2 stops (meaning an f/2.8 lens effectively becomes an f/5.6 lens).

• Focus & Metering: Retains mechanical linkage for auto-aperture operation on compatible Canon FD bodies (like the Canon A-1 or AE-1), though focusing remains manual.
