The PocketWizard Plus (first edition) Digital Receiver is a compact, battery-powered radio receiver designed for wirelessly triggering off-camera flash units or cameras when used with a compatible PocketWizard transmitter. Built on PocketWizard’s reliable digital radio trigger technology, it operates on PocketWizard’s standard frequency and reliably receives coded trigger signals to fire flashes at distances commonly up to several hundred feet when paired with a matching transmitter. Four digitally coded channels let you avoid interference with other photographers, and the receiver’s cold shoe or sync port makes it easy to connect to a wide range of studio strobes, monolights, or other lighting gear without wires.
