Great condition. All functions on the camera have been tested and are working. There is some minor wear on the edges of the film door, worn paint and small scratches. There is an engraving on the bottom of the film door and multiple very small scratches. Lens is free of dust, fungus, scratches, and haze.

The Nikon S began production in 1951. Improvements from its predecessors include flash sync contacts and slightly larger film frame size. The Nikon S is one of the first cameras produced by Nippon Kogaku KK. They were heavily inspired both by Contax and Leica design. They have a unique frame size, the Nikon I with 24x32mm frames, and the Nikon M and S with 24x34mm frames. This particular camera was manufactured after the original serial number ran out of variations, which originally started at 6090000.
