The Phottix Mitros TTL Flash for Sony is a powerful hot-shoe speedlight designed for modern Sony mirrorless and DSLR cameras, utilizing the proprietary Sony Multi-Interface (MI) hot shoe for complete, seamless communication.
The flash comes in two major variants: the standard Mitros TTL (which focuses on traditional on-camera flash and optical wireless triggering) and the highly integrated Mitros+ TTL Transceiver version, which adds built-in 2.4 GHz radio transmission and reception.
Key Specifications & Capabilities
• Flash Power & Zoom: It features a robust Guide Number of 58m (190 ft at ISO 100) at the 105mm position. The auto and manual zoom head covers a focal length range of 24–105mm.
• Exposure & Sync Control: Full support for Sony ADI / P-TTL automatic metering, Manual, and Multi-stroboscopic modes. It handles advanced sync environments easily with High-Speed Sync (HSS) up to 1/8000s and Second-Curtain Sync.
• Articulating Head: The flash head tilts from -7° to +90° and rotates a full 180° in both horizontal directions, giving you complete freedom for bouncing light.
• Power Supply: Runs on 4 AA batteries with a recycle time ranging between 0.1 to 5 seconds (which drops down to 2.5 seconds when utilizing its Quick Flash mode).
