100 Day Warranty - Minolta Maxxum 5000 with Tamron AF 28-200mm F/3.8-5.6
Great condition. All functions have been tested including autofocus, auto advance and rewind, and all camera modes. Body has some minor damage and wear, the plastic on the battery door/grip is cracked and a small piece of plastic is missing. The rubber thumb grip on the film door is missing. The hand grip is slightly discolored, as the material has become dry over time. The lens is free of fungus, haze, dust, and scratches, and has very little visible wear. Please see pictures for more details.
The Minolta Maxxum 5000 is an entry level film camera that fits A-mount autofocus lenses. It was released in 1986, as a simpler family member of the Minolta 7000 and 9000. There are only two modes, Program and Manual. Program is essentially fully automatic, while manual gives the user full control over shutter speed and aperture. The buttons for these controls are tucked beneath a small plastic door on the top of the camera to prevent accidental pressing. The shutter speeds range from 4 seconds to 1/2000 sec. There are also many accessories that fit the Minolta Maxxum 5000 such as data backs, battery holders or grips, etc.
