The Leica 12450 lens hood, also referred to by the code A53, is a specific metal lens hood designed for the Leica Tri-Elmar-M 4/28-35-50mm lens. This is the original, manufacturer-recommended accessory for managing flare and protecting the front element of that particular lens. It attaches via an E49 thread.
