Manual focus telephoto lens made for the Hasselblad V medium format system introduced by Hasselblad in 1964. It was designed to have great optical flatness-of-field and resolution at close distances with reproduction ratios between 1:10 (less than 1.5m) and 1:2. Early lenses had a minimum aperture of f32 but after 1967 it was changed to f45. T* coating became available for the 120mm f5.6 S-Planar in 1975 however only in black. No silver T* lenses are believed to have been made.
