The Carbon Infinity 4x5 is an ultra-rare, high-performance large format field and technical view camera. Designed in the UK by Angus Noble and Adrian Thompson in the 1990s, fewer than 100 units were ever manufactured. It combines the rigid precision of a studio monorail with the compact, folding shell of a rugged field camera.
Design and Materials
- Composition: Built from roughly 85% carbon fiber, complemented by high-strength titanium and aluminum alloy fittings.
- Portability: Folds into its own rigid, clamshell carbon fiber base designed to protect the internal standards during transport.

- Quick and easy to set up, unique configuration with helpful scales and six spirit levels, one at the top of each standard and two each on the front and rear frames.
