The Nikon NIKKOR Z 120-300mm f/2.8 TC VR S brings together the versatility of a professional telephoto zoom with image quality that rivals Nikon's renowned super-telephoto prime lenses. Covering a highly practical 120-300mm range with a constant f/2.8 aperture, it is designed for demanding sports, wildlife, and event photographers who need exceptional speed, precision, and flexibility without changing lenses.
A defining feature of this lens is its integrated 1.4x teleconverter, allowing photographers to switch instantly from 300mm to 420mm with a simple flick of a lever. Extending the zoom range to 168-420mm, the built-in design offers greater convenience than external teleconverters while preserving the optical performance expected from Nikon's flagship S-Line lenses.
Powered by Nikon's Silky Swift Voice Coil Motor (SSVCM), autofocus is optimized for fast-moving subjects with quicker scanning performance than the previous-generation F-mount model. Whether tracking athletes, birds in flight, or rapidly changing action, the system delivers fast, accurate, and reliable focusing across the entire zoom range.
Built-in Vibration Reduction provides up to 6.5 stops of stabilization, helping maintain sharp images during handheld shooting and smooth panning sequences. Despite its professional-grade construction, the lens is approximately 1.55 pounds lighter than its F-mount predecessor, making it easier to carry and maneuver during long shooting sessions.
As part of Nikon's premium S-Line, the NIKKOR Z 120-300mm f/2.8 TC VR S is built to withstand challenging conditions with extensive weather sealing and a durable professional-grade design. An integrated Arca-Swiss-compatible tripod foot eliminates the need for additional mounting plates, while a concealed security slot adds peace of mind when working on location.
Important Safety Information: Do not use this product if you have a pacemaker or other implanted medical device, as the magnets used in the lens may interfere with certain medical devices.
