Nikon Nikonos Screw-In Lens Hood for vintage Nikon cameras. This lens hood serves not only for a sun or rain shade, but also for a filter holder when a 52mm diameter filter of screw-in type is used. The 52mm filter is screwed in the reversed position into the inside of the hood which is attached to the front of the lens, the same way as when used individually. Two notches serve as air escapes when used under water. This hood, being attached in the reverse position, can be kept in the leather case.
