                     2. It can achieve full area focusing of the subject, allowing both near and far subjects in the image to form  clear images.

Features:     The main optical axis of the entire photographic lens can be translated, tilted, or rotated while maintaining the same position of the camera body and film plane, in order to adjust the perspective relationship of the photographed image or achieve full area focusing.

Applicable models: All M42 interface lenses and all Hasselblad X1D digital mirrorless cameras

What is axis shifting photography? Tilt shift photography, also known as axial shift photography, refers to works created using an axial shift lens, resulting in photos that resemble miniature models and are very unique. The function of the shift lens was originally mainly to correct perspective issues that arise when taking photos with a regular wide-angle lens, but later it was widely used to create photographic works that change the depth of field and focal point position. Axial shift photography is the process of capturing the real world as if it were fake, allowing photos to fully express the feeling of an 'artificial city'.

What is a shift lens?  Shift lens is a special lens in EOS EF lenses that can achieve tilt and offset functions. The so-called TS-E in the lens name is the first letter combination of Tilt (tilt angle), Shift (offset), and Electro magnetic Diaphragm (electromagnetic driven aperture). Using the tilt and offset functions to rotate the lens to various angles and positions can move the focal plane or compensate for the shape of the subject. Large format film cameras have been modified.

Changing the position relationship between the optical axis of the lens and the imaging plane for off-axis photography is very common, and the off-axis lens that enables it to be implemented on a 35mm frame camera can be said to be a specialized lens for professional photographers. However, due to the recent expansion of real-time display shooting function, the operation of the shift lens has become simpler. Just keep in mind its basic principles and constantly try to operate it, you can use it flexibly and experience unexpected effects that other lenses cannot bring.

Tilt angle: a mechanism that can tilt the front part of the lens up and down or left and right. Through this mechanism, the focal plane can be controlled to achieve full focus on the main subject at a large aperture.
Note: This ring can only tilt and has no movement effect.
