Leica M11-P Rangefinder Camera (Metal Gray)

Redefining Authenticity in Photography
For generations, Leica cameras have documented defining moments in history, with the M-series earning a reputation among photojournalists for precision and reliability. The Leica M11-P continues this legacy, building on the foundation of the M11 while introducing meaningful refinements for modern creators. Notably, it is the first camera in the world to integrate Content Authenticity Initiative (CAI) technology, reinforcing trust and transparency in digital imaging.

Refined for Professionals
Leica’s “P” models are designed with working photographers in mind, and the M11-P is no exception. Its understated appearance replaces the iconic red dot with a discreet, logo-free design, complemented by a dark chrome viewfinder and engraved Leica script on the top plate. Practical enhancements include expanded 256GB internal storage and a durable sapphire glass cover protecting the rear touchscreen.
Content Credentials & Image Integrity
The M11-P introduces Leica Content Credentials, powered by CAI technology developed in collaboration with Adobe and partners like The New York Times. Using a dedicated secure chip, the camera encrypts metadata at the moment of capture. This information can later be verified or expanded in compatible software such as Adobe Photoshop, allowing viewers to confirm an image’s origin and authenticity. The result is greater confidence in digital imagery and improved protection for creators.
High-Resolution Imaging Performance
At its core, the M11-P features a 60MP full-frame BSI CMOS sensor, delivering exceptional detail and improved low-light performance thanks to its back-illuminated design. An updated dual-layer filter glass reduces UV and IR interference, ensuring accurate color reproduction and clarity when paired with Leica M lenses.
Triple Resolution Technology
Leica’s innovative pixel binning system allows photographers to select between 60MP, 36MP, and 18MP outputs while utilizing the full sensor area. Each resolution maintains rich 14-bit color depth:
Maestro III Processor & Enhanced Sensitivity
The Maestro III image processor powers faster performance, improved responsiveness, and efficient file handling. It also enables a broad ISO range of 64–50000 for natural color rendering and detail across lighting conditions. Continuous shooting reaches up to 4.5 fps, supporting a smooth and responsive shooting experience.
Modern Features, Classic Operation
Remaining true to the M philosophy, the M11-P is a stills-focused camera emphasizing manual control, now with several modern enhancements:
Iconic Rangefinder Design
Inspired by the original Leica M3, the M11-P maintains a timeless, minimalist form. Its intuitive handling and compact build make it ideal for deliberate, immersive photography.
Optical Viewfinder & Display
The bright 0.73x optical rangefinder offers automatic parallax correction and frame lines matched to a 6.6' focusing distance. A front-mounted selector allows manual preview of different focal lengths.
The 2.95" rear touchscreen features a brighter display for outdoor visibility, now protected by scratch-resistant sapphire glass. A refined menu system aligns with Leica’s Q and SL series for faster navigation, while live view stabilization aids manual focusing.
Updated Body & Power System
The M11-P introduces a redesigned body without the traditional removable baseplate. The new BP-SCL7 battery installs directly into the camera and delivers 64% more capacity, rated for approximately 700 shots per charge (or up to 1700 using the optical viewfinder).
Additional updates include:
Seamless Connectivity
The USB-C interface supports direct connection to iPhones via the Leica FOTOS app using the included cable, enabling quick file transfer and management. Built-in Wi-Fi and Bluetooth provide wireless connectivity, allowing geotagging, image rating, and easy sharing directly from your mobile device.
A New Standard for Digital Photography
Blending Leica’s heritage with forward-thinking technology, the M11-P stands as a modern rangefinder built for photographers who value precision, authenticity, and creative control.
