Description
The Sony FDA-EV1M, more commonly referred to as the FDA-EV1MK, is an external electronic viewfinder (EVF) designed for specific Cyber-shot compact cameras. It was primarily created for cameras like the full-frame RX1 series, which lacked a built-in viewfinder. High-resolution OLED display: The viewfinder uses a 0.5-inch XGA OLED screen with approximately 2.359 million dots, providing a sharp, high-contrast, and clear image.
Tilt functionality: The EVF can be tilted up to 90 degrees, which is useful for composing shots from low angles.
Multi-interface shoe mount: It slides into the camera's multi-interface shoe for a secure physical and electronic connection.
Essential for bright conditions: The EVF is particularly useful for composing shots in bright, sunny conditions where the camera's rear LCD screen can be difficult to see.
Added stability: Holding the camera to your eye provides a more stable shooting stance than composing with the rear LCD, which can help reduce camera shake.
