Modular System: The Sinar F allows for interchangeable rear standards to accommodate different formats like 4x5, 5x7, and 8x10. It can also be upgraded to higher-end models like the Sinar P.
Movements: It offers a full range of camera movements, including rise/fall, shifts, tilts, and swings, on both front and rear standards.

Design: The Sinar F is relatively lightweight compared to other Sinar models like the Sinar P. The original Sinar F has a brushed aluminum monorail and accents, while later models like the F1, F2, and F3 are black.
Functionality: It includes features like a cylindrical angle calculator, a depth of field scale, and p2 style knobs. The rear standard has a fine focus drive.
Accessories: A variety of accessories are available for the Sinar F, including wide-angle bellows, extension rails, lens boards, and film holders.
