The Fotodiox Pro Lens Adapter allows Olympus OM lenses to be mounted onto Nikon F-mount SLR and DSLR cameras. Built from durable brass with a stainless steel finish, it features a leaf spring that provides a secure fit between lens and adapter. To preserve infinity focus, the adapter incorporates a 1.4x multi-coated focus correction lens, which can also be removed when desired, converting the adapter into an extension tube for macro photography.
As a fully manual adapter, it does not transmit automatic functions between camera and lens. Aperture priority or manual exposure modes are recommended, along with stop-down metering for accurate exposure control.
Note: some Olympus lenses (mostly wide-angle lenses) have a shield that protrudes from the rear of the mount, preventing them from mounting on the adapter.
