The black anodized 6061-T6 aluminum L-bracket has a slotted design for side port access and does not block the LCD monitor from tilting. It allows access to controls, ports, and the battery door, and it also has a hand strap loop machined on the right-hand side. The base incorporates a stainless steel QD (Quick Disconnect) System receiver for a sling or shoulder strap. The included 5/32" short hex key is used to tighten the L-bracket to the body and then can be stored via the built-in hex key storage system. A 1/4"-20 mounting hole is located on the bottom and sensor centering lines are on the back for precise camera alignment on a tripod head.
