This Camera Cage from SmallRig is a formfitting aluminum cage that protects your Panasonic S1 or S1R camera that has the DMW-BGS1 battery grip attached, without impeding access to your camera's functions, displays, ports, or battery. The camera mounts onto the cage via a 1/4"-20 screw and the side features M2.5 threads to hold your camera securely in the cage, preventing it from twisting.
For accessory mounting, the cage incorporates multiple 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 threads on all sides, and an integrated shoe mount provides a convenient attachment point for articulating arms, external monitors, and other accessories. The cage also features a NATO rail to mount a handle or other accessories with a NATO clamp. There are strap slots on the sides to add an optional neck or wrist strap. A flat screwdriver is included to secure the camera screw and stores on the bottom of the cage.
