When paired with an APS-C sensor camera, the 35mm focal length equivalent is 75mm. The fast f/2 maximum aperture helps contribute to clearer pictures in low light situations and the Loxia 50mm features an engraved manual aperture ring that can be "de-clicked" for smooth and quiet operation especially useful when recording video.
