The BL-1DX3 L-Bracket for Canon 1DX Mark III from Kirk has a two-piece design, with antitwist flanges that keep your camera from moving within the bracket. With its Arca-type dovetails, it enables you to mount the camera in a vertical or horizontal position onto a compatible head. The black anodized 6061-T6 aluminum L-bracket has a slotted design, which gives access to the camera's HDMI Out, Ethernet, external microphone, head phone, remote shutter release, and digital terminals. The included hex wrench, which stores under the horizontal plate, is used to tighten the L-bracket to the camera body, but it also serves to separate the bracket away from the body to gain further access to the other camera ports. The bracket is machined to have access to the sliding battery pack, and an included strap tab is used to attach a shoulder strap, but on each axis there is also an industry-standard Quick Disconnect socket for a sling or shoulder strap as well. Sensor centering lines are on the back of the bracket, so you can align your camera on a tripod head.
