The inside of the neck pad features ultra-grip memory foam. And for added visual appeal, the strap is sewn with contrasting cyan-colored thread and the edges of the neck strap are hand painted. The strap may be worn from the neck or cross body and is adjustable from 37.8 - 49.6". The strap has a split ring with protective leather patch or loop with connector for easy camera attachment.

The tanning process results in an anti-allergenic leather with an appealing scent. The leather requires periodic oiling to maintain its characteristics and refurbish the surface from scratches. Edges are hand painted for visual appeal.
- 4V Design straps feature a 10 mm custom connection band. This soft band is made of 100% polyamide and derives from military application bands. The design allows for a high resistance to tear, wear and cut. The herringbone design makes for stronger stitched connections and the camera weight is distributed over a higher number of treads for increased durability. The band end is "folded & stitched". This solution makes 4V straps safer and helps prevent the band slipping out of the buckle accidentally. The sleek metal buckle is compact, with rounded edges and easy to grab.
