The Manfrotto 293 Carbon Fiber Tripod with 494RC2 Quick Release Mini Ball Head is a lightweight support system for with a maximum height of 58" and a load capacity of 9 lb. The 293 uses a "next-generation" carbon tubing with optimized fiber angles that provide advantages over aluminum tubing in terms of rigidity, lightness and stability.
The 4-section construction with smaller diameter carbon tubing than its sister 294 models helps to minimize the folded length for a more compact tripod that's ideal for traveling photographers. The 293 tripod features flip-lock leg locks, two-position leg angle settings that make low-angle shooting possible, and a rapid center column.
The included 494RC2 Ball Head with quick release and camera plate allows you to re-position your camera quickly, then lock it solidly in place using the single locking knob. The head is interchangeable and can be easily removed to allow you to use the tripod with specialized heads.
