The Benro BH-2-M Ballhead is the largest of their single action ballheads, and has a 2-stage 'snap-in' quick release system. It uses a simple single lever to lock and unlock all movement functions, and is rated to comfortably hold equipment weighing up to 17.6 lbs (8kg). You can use nearly any lens on your SLR camera that is smaller than about a 300mm f/2.8 lens.
The large ball sphere and strong locking lever of the BH-2-M allow you great control over your heavier stuff, and the PH-09 quick release plate's 1/4"-20 camera screw has some adjustment range built in to the plate to allow a more ideal balance of your gear to the tripod head.
