Description

The Kirk LP-46 Lens Plate is designed to take the place of the original tripod collar foot of a Nikon 400mm f/2.8 AF-S (I and II) & 600mm AF-S II and VR lenses, and to convert the collar to make it directly compatible with Arca-type quick release clamps, without the need for additional quick release plates. The foot is 1.875" shorter then the original Nikon foot, which helps to lower its center of gravity. Critical mass is also reduced, but the original Nikon design is still maintained, which allows it to still be used as a carrying handle.

Each adapter comes complete with all the necessary hardware and tools to make the conversion.

Durable: Machined from 6061T6 aluminum, and anodized to an unscratchable black satin finish.

Double-Dovetail Cross-Section: Double-dovetail design allows attachment of additional accessories to the upper or lower surface of the plate.
