The Replacement Lens Foot for Sony FE 400mm f/2.8 GM OSS Lens from Kirk Enterprises attaches directly to the lens collar and locks into place by tightening the included mounting screws with the hex key. Moreover, the replacement lens foot is compatible with most Arca-type clamps, ball, and gimbal heads. Meanwhile, the double-dovetail design allows Arca-type accessories to attach to the bottom or the top of the foot.

The stable lens foot creates a low profile while attached to the lens, which reduces stress on the lens collar. The foot is made from 6061-T6 aluminum with a black anodized finish, which is resistant against scratches and corrosion, and the foot leaves ample room for you to mount the lens hood in the reverse. Optional safety stops located on the bottom of the foot prevent the lens from accidentally being pulled when the clamp is partially open, and 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 sockets are provided if no mounting clamp is available.
