The Hoodman HoodCrane is a universal hot shoe mount for LCD accessories. It features a spring-loaded latch that moves the crane up and down. It also swings up and pivots out of the way for shared LCD viewing or still shooting. The HoodCrane has a cold shoe mount on top so you can add other shoe-mounted accessories.
It is designed to work with the Hoodman HoodLoupe 3.0 which provides you with a magnified view of your shot on the camera's 3.0" LCD during DSLR video capture, and the HoodMAG 3.0 eyecup which provides 3.0x magnification. The HoodLoupe 3.0 and HoodMag 3.0 are sold separately, or you can purchase the Hoodman Cinema Kit Pro which includes all three items.
