The Vertical Battery Grip for Alpha A99 DSLR Camera from Sony is a battery grip designed for the Alpha SLT-A99 DSLR camera and accepts one or two NP-FM500H Lithium-Ion batteries. With two batteries installed in the grip and one in the camera, your shooting time is effectively tripled.
The design of a battery grip offers a comfortable and secure way in which to hold your A99, especially in the vertical position. This battery grip features an alternate shutter release button to facilitate shooting when the camera is held in the portrait orientation as well as a secondary compensation button, AF/MF button, AEL button, Fn button, zoom/magnifier button, multi-selector and control dial. A battery tray holds the Lithium-Ion batteries and slides into the base of the grip.
