Shipping & Returns

Returns Policy

We have a maximum return policy of 30 days (from date received) on items bought. Items must be in new condition (unless the item was bought as used/refurbished), unopened, and undamaged.  We are not a rental facility and will not be used as such. 

Seller reserves the right to refuse returns for opened or damaged items.

Digital Cameras, Lenses and Flashes will be replaced within 14 days of purchase if the unit is Dead on Arrival or defective.  After 14 days, the unit must go back to the manufacturer for repair under the Manufacturer Warranty.

All returns must be pre-approved by simply logging into to your account, view the order using the "Complete Orders" link under the My Account menu and click the Return Item(s) button. We'll notify you via e-mail of your refund once we've received and processed the returned item.

All returns must include the following:

  • Original packaging (manufacturer's box, Styrofoam, plastic bags, etc.)
  • Original packaging must be undamaged (not ripped, scratched, dented)
  • Original intact UPC barcode. Do not cut out the UPC code until you have examined and tested the product to your satisfaction. Removal of the UPC code voids any possibility of return regardless of RMA or credit request status.
  • Valid Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) printed and attached to the outside of the shipping box. 
  • Original packing slip and original receipt (make a copy for your own records, but the original should be returned). Do not mail or dispose of the packing slip or receipt until you have examined and tested the product to your satisfaction.
  • The return must be complete and include all accessories (chargers, remote controls, batteries, cables, software disks, etc.)
  • Manufacturer documentation (manuals, warranty cards, registration information, etc.)
  • The RMA number must NOT be written on the original manufacturer'spackaging or box. Please attach the RMA print (with the barcode) onto the shipping box. Items received with any writing on the original manufacturer's packaging or box will be refused and returned to you at your cost and without credit approval.

 Returns Must Meet ALL Applicable Criteria

If your returned product does not match all applicable criteria listed below, it will be rejected by our Returns Warehouse and returned to you at your expense. Consequently, your RMA will be nullified, any credit request will be denied, replacement orders will not be made,and you will be charged for all shipping to and from our Returns Warehouse that may be incurred. By requesting an RMA and/or shipping a return in violation of this policy you hereby agree to accept our shipment of the product back to you and to the payment of all shipping costs to and from our Returns Warehouse. Our arrangements with our suppliers and manufacturers allow us no room to make exceptions.

If Ace Photo caused the error (i.e. wrong item sent), we will cover return shipping cost, up to, but not exceeding the cost of the original outbound shipping.  If the sale had free shipping, we will cover up to, but not exceeding our costs in the original shipping.  The item must be in original packaging, and wrapped well.  Any damage incurred during return transit is the responsibility of the buyer. 

You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).


Shipping

We ship domestically to the United States only (Hawaii and Alaska included), and to APO/FPO addresses. Note that there are restrictions on some products, and some products cannot be shipped to international destinations.

  • Ace Photo will not ship to freight forwarders, warehouses, or mailbox dropoff services.
  • We ship adult signature required for all orders over $100.
  • If your billing address is not in Virginia, and you choose Local Pickup as an option, you will have to pay Virginia 6% tax when the item is picked up in the store.

When you place an order, we will estimate shipping and delivery dates for you based on the availability of your items and the shipping options you choose. Depending on the shipping provider you choose, shipping date estimates may appear on the shipping quotes page.

Please also note that the shipping rates for many items we sell are weight-based. The weight of any such item can be found on its detail page. To reflect the policies of the shipping companies we use, all weights will be rounded up to the next full pound.
