Description

Brighten the world beneath the sea with the compact, lightweight UFL-3 Underwater Strobe Flash fromOlympus. Designed for all of their camera housings equipped with fiber-optic cable ports, it has a depth rating of 246'. When used above water at full power, its guide number is 72' at ISO 100, and it provides a wide angle of coverage equivalent to that of a 24mm lens (35mm format). The flash helps restore color accuracy and vibrancy to your underwater images, and features a color temperature of 5400K. Choose from TTL, slave, and manual modes.

The UFL-3 is supplied with a diffuser to soften its light for reduced backscatter, glare, and hard shadows. The flash connects to a compatible underwater housing via the optional PTCB-E02 fiber-optic cable. It's configured with a YS style mount for attachment to an optional lighting arm. The UFL-3 is powered by 4 AA alkaline, NiMH, lithium, or oxy nickel hydroxide (Oxyride) batteries, which are available separately.
