Canon's EOS 60D supersedes the 50D, and is intended for enthusiasts who want to take their skills to the next level. It will shoot stunning stills or Full HD (1080p) movies, with full manual control and selectable frame rates. You can also shoot high-speed 50/60-fps movies at 720p for when the action is really fast.
The camera offers a series of creative features, such as advanced creative filters that include a toy camera effect or soft focus, and can be applied to RAW and JPEG images for creative control after the shot has been taken. Basic+ allows you to apply a creative ambience, when shooting in the Basic modes, giving creative control without extensive photographic knowledge. A 7.7-cm (3.0-inch) vari-angle wide LCD screen features a 3:2 aspect ratio and a 1,040k dot resolution, providing added flexibility and the ability to view images in incredible detail.
