Leica SL (Typ 601)
Best-in-class may be an understatement for the Leica SL (Typ 601) Mirrorless Digital Camera, an outstanding full-frame model that is offering professionals the "new Leica experience." This generation of Leica is aimed to take the top spot of modern imaging technology and by the implementation of an outstanding 24MP CMOS sensor and Leica's Maestro II processor, it will deliver among the best in image quality with sensitivities ranging from ISO 50-50000. The sensor also forgoes the use of a low-pass filter in order to maximize possible detail, especially with the use of Leica's outstanding lens lineups. And, to make the camera a true professional's tool, Leica has incorporated internal DCI 4K (4096 x 2160) video recording at 24 fps in a Super35 mode, along with the L-Log gamma for maximum dynamic range.
Leica Vario-Elmarit-SL 24-90mm f/2.8-4 ASPH.
Offering a versatile wide-angle to portrait-length range, the Vario-Elmarit-SL 24-90mm f/2.8-4 ASPH. is a fast standard zoom from Leica designed for full-frame L mount mirrorless cameras. The 18 elements in 15 groups lens construction incorporates four aspherical elements and 11 anomalous partial dispersion elements, which help to reduce chromatic aberrations and distortions throughout the zoom range for notable image sharpness and clarity. The f/2.8-4 maximum aperture benefits working in a variety of lighting conditions and also offers greater control over focus position for working with shallow depth of field techniques. Designed for consistent performance at all focal lengths and focusing distances, the versatility this lens affords is well-suited to nearly any photographic application.
Leica M-Adapter T
The M-Adapter-T from Leica enables you to mount any Leica M lens on the Leica T or SL camera. It features a sensor for 6-bit coded Leica M lenses to provide exposure metering, aperture priority AE, and manual setting capability with those lenses. This sensor will communicate all of the metadata from 6-bit coded lenses to the camera. Additionally, the M-Adapter-T can be combined with the optional R-Adapter to allow for the mounting of R lenses.
